Plans for Music Magazine

Currently on SurveyMonkey I have 33 responses which I feel is sufficient so I am going to compile them into a more detailed analysis tomorrow. However its is necessary that i choose my colour scheme for my music magazine so having gained knowledge from studying NME and Kerrang! as well as the response to my survey I am going to decide now.
It is clear that I need to include black in the colour scheme which iwas intending to do anyway as it is a basic colour and suits part of my genre as rock music connotates to dark colours.
However other popular colours include, predominantly blue but then also: White, Purple, Red and several votes for Yellow/Gold.
I will follow up all the questionnaire responses at a later point this week.

Also the second purpose to this blog was to explain about how the plans for my double page spread have been coming along. I decided near the beginning of the course that I wanted to use a real band for my music magazine and luckily I have managed to, in a very short period of time (as the images really need to be taken by the middle of next week) get a meeting time with a band. They're called 'The Rileys' and can be found here: www.myspace.com/therileysmusic They are quite successful performers, not yet mainstream and as I am already attending their gig on Friday I emailed them enquiring as to whether I could meet them before the gig for a short "photoshoot" which they were all too happy to do, so on Friday I should be meeting them, along with my friend Vicky, at the Barfly in Camden to get some photos and also, Joe (guitarist) is completing a text-interview for me which he's going to email back to me tomorrow or the day after.

The only problem now is to find a digital camera, so I am going to have to ask to borrow someone's as mine is currently broken.
